The easiest way is to find out if the station has a podcast. If it does, install iTunes for Windows, download the podcast, create a playlist in iTunes, and pull it over to the iPod.

Do you have a stereo interface and Audacity set for mono? Change the Audacity settings to Stereo and see if the 0.5 clipping goes away.

Audacity can't take apart a song into separate voices, instruments or other sounds. That's for a regular song. It's really difficult if the song has pitch shifting and special effects applied.

That is odd. Audacity should fresh install with no preconceived notions of what's there and where everything is. That was the idea behind the "reset everything" check point. Audacity would get stuck and take messing around in the system to straighten it out. Time for a Windows system elf. ...
