There's also the possibility your AUP file isn't going to look anything like that. AUP file damage happens, too.

Re: "Couldn't find the project data folder:" Error
when I double click an AUP file, it opens Audacity and gives me those two error messages. In general, that means the names have been changed. Control-Click the AUP file > Open With > TextEdit. It's going to look overwhelming with lots of semi-English computer instructions, but look down through the...

Re: Making Help Videos
There are reasons there are no official Audacity videos. The manual pages are far harder than they look. They go through repeated revisions and corrections before they're published. Most video producers are only interested in one-pass shoots and go for coffee. One recent production is instructive. S...

Re: Positive-Negative Audio Peak Comparison
It is intended to change the audio signal phase to get the positive peaks greatest than the negatives. Can we ask what the goal is? I mean the real goal? You can't directly compare successive swings of the waveform. The positive and negative swings are never there at there same time. So then you ge...

Re: "Couldn't find the project data folder:" Error
You should be able to double-click the AUP Project Manager File and it will find the _DATA folder, launch Audacity and open the show.

Re: Adding Echo on a live Mic
Audacity is post-production editor and doesn't do anything in real time. OK, it does Voice Activated and Timer, but that's about it. This is where your Yeti is going to cause problems. The next production step up from what you have is a sound mixer with special effects. That means an analog micropho...

Re: Lost audio end part when converting from Mono to Stereo
The unconditional WAV file limit is 2Gb which works out to stereo 3 hours. Some systems can deal with 4Gb. Nobody can deal with 6Gb. You can get away with nose-bleed high quality MP3 or some of the other formats.

Re: Guitar sounds odd on playback
Oh! That went right by me. Earlier drivers don’t work in Windows 10. If the driver doesn’t say Windows 10, that’s the end of the world. Check your new one is OK for Win10.
So you were right.

Re: Guitar sounds odd on playback
Is there a webcam control panel? That’s the other place to get distortion like that. Most people would use that kind of camera for conferencing or chatting. No music. Look for that control panel while you wait for the new mic to arrive.
