The current developers have all they can do to keep the basic program running, but if you wanted to develop these plugins that would be great. Alternately, if you know someone interested in volunteering programming time to this product, that would be great, too.

There is one thing you might inspect.

Desktop > Finder > Preferences > Advanced.

You can force a Mac to cover up filename extensions. I wouldn't.

You can make a DATA DVD that will hold 8 hours of MP3 show. I don't know the magic of actually playing it, but I think most machines with optical drives should be able to do that. It looks like a shiny, thin hard drive.

It should not make any difference, but I would avoid putting dots in folder names. That's why all those folders look like: Audacity2-0-3.

The -dash- is one of the two unconditionally acceptable name characters. The other is _underscore_.
