which had the 'acoustic' preset all ready loaded under EQ.
Was it an ad for that software?

Is this an ad for that software?

Unless you can run down the supplier, this isn't an Audacity problem.

Re: USB connected mic to Audacity for MAC

I think this is all the steps. I tried to include all the important keystrokes. Let me know if you get stuck. You have to custom install RMS Normalize and ACX Check. ========================== Effect > Notch Filter: 120Hz, Q2 > OK Effect > Notch Filter: 95Hz, Q2 > OK Effect > Equalization: Low Rollo...

Re: mixing stero down to mono when Voice cancelling

Drop-down from the top track > Make Stereo Track . That should make the top two tracks into stereo. Then Tracks > Mix > Mix Stereo down to Mono . When you get done, you might try Effect > Vocal Remover which is all what you just did in one step, or Effect > Vocal Reduction and Isolation. This one is...

Re: Enhance the sound of a clip

Urgent solution required. What's the goal? We can provide broad, generic guidelines, but we're much better if we know what you're trying to do. Are you trying to read for audiobooks? I was able to make it noise free. Did it have a lot of noise when you recorded it? That's a common problem with home...

the usb audio card it doesn't run perfectly.
I'm more interested in details of the USB soundcard.

There are two different ways to make the TRRS connection. If I had to guess at it, I'd say the USB soundcard was wired different from the laptop.

Re: vertical db scale on main display

Two of the three audiobook specifications and the recommended live recording volume are in that range. It's a busy place and it gets squashed if you ...

Re: Do red lines always mean clipping?

There's an interesting argument with overload sensors (the red bars) You can't really do that. Any wave that goes right up to the overload point but doesn't go over is perfectly valid and correct. Anything that goes over is wrong, but there is no "over." The waves will always stop at the o...
