can any body help me,because im recording sa voice track but it seem its has a noise in a signal?does it need to upgrade my audiocard?what is the basic requirement for the audio card in order to eliminates the noise for recording richt now im using my XP destop windows?

im having a problem in recording the signal is always have a noise i change already the mic ang the source also the card of my computer ,is there any setting that i should do to eliminate the noise/
