My headphones plug into the two jacks for the headphones and mic so it would b sound card i believe. and i went to edit, preferences, and devices, and i changed it to the microsoft sound mapper- input and output for both recording and playback and that didnt work.
Its a windows vista.

I am using Audacity 1.3 Beta and everything seems to be working perfectly fine until now, when i got a new headset (mic & headphones) to use. I can record through the mic but when i am trying to record i can not hear the track/mp3 that i am trying to record over, which doesnt do any good cuz i c...
