Hi Im planning to do a bit of recording... reading and recording my own voice Just did a test using a logic 3 mic which I think is a good mic for audio digital recording. The test result is good and prob better than I could get on say a sony recording machine but there is a bit of fuzz.... very slig...

JUST BEEN to preferences and moved the sample rate up to 16000
and the bit rate up to 24 bit

funny, Im not seeing that pic of audacity I posted .... Just played an audio file and it was ok so the sound card has nt gone think Ive seen this kind of pattern before but so long ago Ive forgotten about it. Thanks for info , yes I know about the pause and then hit pause again to restart... but I'm thinking of a recording that might be over 6 or 7 days before I get to the hour limit. I was hoping I could save the file at the end of the day and then next day continue recording on the same file .... but s...

I listen to a lot of internet radio and often tape bits and pieces. After the tape snagged for the 3rd time in one week, Im thinking of giving up tape and recording digitally into audacity. Is there any way I can keep recording in the same file... just adding bits till the file is say about 1 hour l...
