Solved
The problem is solved. It had nothing to do with Audacity. I used the usb portals at the front of mij computer, that didn't work. When i use the usb at the rear of mij computer everything works as it should. So from now on i can record my vynil. Finding out the difference between te USB's on my comp...

Yep, still the same problem.
I did a update of my soundcard (Realtek '97 audio) but that doesn't solve the problem.
I just installed Audacity on my laptop and that gives no problems ??????????????????????????????????

Help I was running Audacity 1.2.4 I did a update to version 1.2.6 I got Audacity (1.2.4) by buying a ION USB turntable The problem (in both 1.2.4 and 1.2.6) is that the recording stops after 10 seconds or longer without me doing anything. When trying again the recording stops (for example) after 1.2...
