I followed the directions. Audacity opened but Terminal did not ask for the correct permissions. If the Terminal already has the necessary permissions, it won't ask again. What happened? With OS Catalina when I download a plugin from "https://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Down ... s#download" I get a text file. I did this years ago but now I cannot seem to get the hang of it. I would appreciate any direction offered. Thank you.

From what I have read in this forum, if I try to use Audacity in OS Catalina it is 50/50 as to whether or not I will have problems. Am I correct? Thank you.

Yes but I had just reset the toolbars and now I see that the meters in both project windows are now working properly. Thank you.
