Re: buzz in exported mp3 file

Yes, actually it seems to happen again on another file.
I'm attaching the file here.
Thanks,

buzz in exported mp3 file

Hello.
Working with Audacity 2.0.3, installed from dmg on imac osx 10.6.8.
My audio file sounds fine in Audacity but when I export to mp3 I have a loud buzz for the first 4 sec. Then it stops. !?
Any suggestions?
I reexported and saved as another file name and still the same buzz.
Thanks,
Gail

Re: Sudden and random loss of sound

your response evoked the name of the program! The forum is a learning tool. At least I thought it was. Some of us are novices and need more hand holding I guess.

Re: Sudden and random loss of sound

So once you lose the sound it's gone forever?? That kind of instablility makes me want to move to another program. I don't have control over file corruption! Do other programs like Garageband or Pro Tools have this problem too?

Even out volume of voices

I'm a novice. I have a file that has been created by pieces of two recordings and the voice levels are uneven, some louder than others. Is there a way to select the whole file and even out the volume. Or do I have to do it selectively. And if selectivly, how?
Thanks
