Got it going. But now when I try to add distortion with Amplitube from Ik Multimedia I'm getting moments of white noise

When I am recording guitar over drums I am getting way too much of the drums on my guitar track. How do I get a cleaner sound?

I recently purchased a new computer Windows 7 Home Premium. But when I tried transferring Audacity and old files from audacity that were on my old computer using sans disk cruzer it says the specified path does not exist. How do I get my old files on my new computer?

When I plug my guitar into my computer and try to record to audacity I'm getting no sound. Although what I'm playing is being recorded. How do I get sound while I'm playing and recording?

When I use the repeat effect I get brief pauses of silence in between the music. How do I get rid of this?

Is there a way I can remove tracks from a song (drums bass, vocals) if import them from a MP3 to Audacity?
Also when I slow down the tempo on songs that are imported. I'm getting weird noise (kind of like tremelo added to the song) How do I get rid of that?

I am transferring them from Audacity files to MP3 files

I named the file Sample 1 because it was a short sample of of a song I had been writing. The music was recorded by microphone connected to my hard drive.
