In Audacity 2.5 Audio units effects settings not being saved
Good day. Due to a problem I have deleted the preferences files and reinstalled Audacity which cleared up a playback problem I was having. Now however if I use audio units to effect a track the settings are not saved. Example: I have a stereo track and want to put reverb on it. I love the apple matr...

Re: Deleting the preferences file for audacity on the mac
Koz and Gale, you've given me much to explore and work with. Gale thanks for the link to the folder paths. I'll try this. Koz, actually, This machine is not under powered at all. I did get the max specks and it has proven to work excellently with Audacity. I agree about the speed. I am working with ...

Re: Deleting the preferences file for audacity on the mac
Gale, sorry for the beta reference. I did download the first RC of 2.5 and this did not fix the problem although I was happy to have open with back from finder. I also did try going back to an older version and the problem still persists. I did look at the topic you referenced and those suggestions ...

Re: Deleting the preferences file for audacity on the mac
Gale, thanks for the info. It's applications support that I missed. I'll definitely try the 2.5 beta. I've actually never seen the problem I am having and thought it might be something on my computer since it seemed to develop when I moved my projects in to one folder. it was about 250 MB of audio. ...

Deleting the preferences file for audacity on the mac
Good day. I am running the latest version of audacity and when I play files now they sound glitchy like there are either buffering problems or something. I deleted audacity by putting it in the trash, emptied the trash and from the DMG file copied it back in to the applications folder. I still get t...

transfering settings from one project to another
Good afternoon. I am using Lion with the latest version of Audacity from the DMG file. I have created EQ presets and would like to be able to migrate them to different projects. Example: I am working on a project for church where I am mixing the music from the different services. Rather than having ...

Tascam fw1082
Good day. Can anyone tell me if the tascam FW1082 functionality is supported by audacity? If anyone is using this console I would love to corospond with you or get more information on how audacity is working with it. I am a blind computer user using Leopard and VoiceOVer and am looking for a way to ...

Re: Canpt export to MP3
Found my answer by reading the believe it or not jaws guide for audacity. So, please Oh great developers: make the preferences dialog accessible to voiceover. I am not able to get to the part where I can tell audacity where the laim plug in is. If anyone has a work around for this I'd certainly appr...
