Re: Auto Logout

I do not if it is hint for your question, neither I know the precise time, but I guess that while lazy post edit, after about half an hour (between 20' and 60' say), I get "your form was invalid" and have to press Preview once more. With auto-log-in that does not worry me. (Even without auto-log-in,...

Re: Application error crashes in Vista

(The question is if the bug is Audacity, in card's drivers, or in OS.)
(Even if it is in OS, perhaps it would be possible to catch the exception and let die only the AudioIO thread,
leaving rest of audacity as well as all data intact.)

Re: Application error crashes in Vista

I think Audacity should not crash and I tend to think there would be a related bug. I've never tried, but do you have another editor on your machine that that can play 64 tracks? Or can play 5 out of 64? <<Audacity will eventually generate an application error and crash.>> Does your car blow up and...

Re: Audacity Crashed - recovered manually

- you can simply generate silence of the required length, which is immediate NOT ! I am enough clever to do that if it would be expected to work. This cannot work just because it is immediate. Gale, this creates NO .au file. It just writes many <silentblockfile> to .aup file. It could work with gen...

Re: Gain slider bug

The second case, I guess, and I find it nice unless I hit the left edge of my screen.

The dB's are runnig in units, and with Shift, in halfs of unit.
Well there is a rounding bug, it steps sometimes by 0,5 dB and sometimes by 0,4 dB (1.3.5, in XP)
