Re: Nyquist Did Not Return Audio error
- Does Generate -> Pluck work for you ? (This serves as a test whether Nyquist is healthy. Any other Nyquist plugins should work, too.) - What chain do you apply ? What audio did you select ? (And for sure, what do you mean by chain?) The selection might be the main point. Does your 'chain' assume m...

Re: All Roads Lead to Mono
I can not get the point yet, but I think Koz suggestion should be precisely followed. And, please, if it fails, say, carefully, what you did and what it showed. Please distinguish no tracks VERSUS one/two tracks with silence or empty. Close the recording without saving. Set the preferences to four c...

Re: MP3 files truncated
when I export the file as an mp3 file the last 12 minutes (a 67 minute lecture) are cut off Hmm ... that's a bit more serious than WMP doing a "fade out" isn't it. If johnrgentry is still around, perhaps we could have some more information on this - is it just one particular MP3 file, or all MP3's?...

Cody, I think your decission is appropriate and I respect it. Thank you once more for your reports!! It is sad that when we achieved a change, it is far from success. Re: Error in Open/Save Dialog: 1.3.x
0. Do you use Edit>Import>Audio ? There is "Create New Folder" icon/button (with picture of folder and star or sun) in that dialog. 1. Press this button. Press Enter to confirm the name of new folder (do not change the name). Press Enter once more to enter the new folder. (Did it crash?) 2. Click "C...

Re: Audacity HANGS in XP after 1 successful export session
Cody, I do continue listening to your case. And I am sorry to hear your troubles continue in unexpected way. It sound kind of improbable to me. Is it possible that your computer needes one (or two) clean reboots after closing the network? (Instead of reinstalling audacity?) What I mean are reboots w...

Re: URGENT - I sound fine on playback, but others are faint
Others can answer better, but I might be fast ... First what I think what you record: You selected Microphone as input. Mic is close to your lips (you are sounding find) and about 1 meter from speakers (others can be heard but are faint.) [It would "help" tu put speakers volume high or mic close to...

Re: lost sound after saving .aup file
hi...I recently downloaded Audacity 1.2.6 on my MacBook Pro with intel...I began working on an imported .wav file and had no problems until I saved the roughly edited 3 tracks as an .aup file to work on later. The next day when I opened the file, all the tracks appeared in the window with waveforms...

Re: Monitoring while recording? How?
You mean, there is Microphone, it is not muted, and the slider is high ?
(If there is not Microphone, it has to be added by Options>Properties, for Windows XP.)
What is your OS: XP or Vista?
