I am going to exchange the cable. I think there is a problem with it. The cable lights up and everything, so I will try another one... I think there is a problem with the connector inside the plug.

I have plugged it into my other computer I have with the same results. No sound seems to be coming thru. I don't have the package anymore and it was given to me as a gift so I don't know if I can even exchange it ? Can't see why it wouldn't work ?! I don't need an amp plugged in or anything do I ??

I am using Windows XP. Just can't get this thing to work ? I don't know what else to try.
