Today's dumbest question - have successfully transferred LPs to my laptop in MP3 format, but cannot get Audacity and my microphone to communicate (all I want to do is record a tutorial). The mixer tab selection button which is supposed to offer options, one of which is mic. remains stubbornly blank....
