Audacity 1.3.7 playback stops
Audacity is 1.3.7 built from the fullsource distribution. The system is OpenSuSE Linux 11.1. I can play back project files, but after some period of time the playback will just stop. The icons still indicate that it's playing, and I can select the stop button and the play button again to restart it,...

Weird project / track problem
I have a project with 13 stereo tracks in it. I was playing around with the Click Removal effect, and am using this project to store my results all in one. So I opened a project containing only the song that I'm testing with (about 7 minutes long), applied the Click Removal effect to it, opened a ne...

Opening project hangs Audacity 1.3.7
I have two projects here now that when I open them, Audacity hangs. It gets as far as drawing the audio image, greys out the menus, does *not* pop up the "Inspecting..." window, and hangs itself. I have to kill it to recover. I recorded all of my vinyl (several hundred albums) in Audacity 1.22. Then...

Re: Unable to compile Audacity 1.3.7 source code within Ubun
Attempting to compile Audacity 1.3.7 source code. I keep getting the following error message: I had something similar trying to build 1.3.7 from source on OpenSuSE 11.1. I gave up on trying to resolve the dependencies in the minisource distribution, downloaded the fullsource version, and had no pro...

Re: Click Removal torture test
See also this thread: http://audacityteam.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=1994 WC Yep, I'd seen that. I have started trying out the ClickRepair tool. So far, the results are pretty impressive. I was hoping for a way to do it within Audacity, though, so as to avoid having to go through too many inter...

Re: Click Removal torture test
I can post WAV files instead if you'd like. I figured it would be easier to just upload the project, though I do realize that the project is a lot bigger to download all at once.stevethefiddle wrote:I'm not able to download a huge file at the moment

Click Removal torture test
I'm using Audacity 1.3.7 here on OpenSuSE Linux 11.1. I have recorded a lot of vinyl records and am now going through to clean them up and make them sound the best I can. So Click Removal is, I hope, my friend. Here's a sample of what I'm working with: http://www.zaccaria-pinball.com/temp/Stan_Getz-...

I'm missing something here: Click Removal
I'm using Audacity 1.2.2 here and recording some vinyl albums. Read the docs, and the "click removal" feature was something I wanted to try. The only problem is that the docs say that this is on the Effects menu. Well, it isn't. I have, under Effects: Amplify Bass Boost Change Pitch Change Speed Cha...
