Thanks for your reply. The link to VC8 works fine. The VC++ installer works on XP but again not on Win 98. So now I have both VC8 and VC9 on my XP machine. I am confused. Is it possible to build a win98SE version using MSC VC9 on XP? If so what is the config needed?
