When i try to load my file it says malformed mp3.

1. Does the file play correctly in your usual media player?
2. What is the full name of the file (including the file extension)?
3. Which version of Audacity do you have?
4. Have you installed FFmpeg for Audacity?

There is a work-around using FFmpeg to decode the MP3 here.
