Oops. Found this thread via google and just noticed this is the beta forum, but my problem is not with the beta version.

/usr/local/lib/audacity/libavformat.52.dylib exists, and the perms have been set like this: sudo chmod -R 755 /usr/local/lib/audacity preferences > libraries says: FFmpeg library not found hit the locate... button /usr/local/lib/audacity/libavformat.52.dylib This is the correct path. copy-n-paste it...
