Seems that I am wrong - again!
V 1.2 shows the metadata sometimes and other times, it doesn't. I have checked each file I import or open, beforehand to ensure the metadata is present. In all cases that do fail, the track number and the title are missing, but the remainder are ok.
Any ideas?

Hi Gale
I installed 1.2 and that handles the metadata correctly. I think the new interface in 1.3 is an improvement but v 1.2 works fine.

Hi Gale, Somehow the one file lost its metadata. I did with another File. Looked at details under properties of the file and the metadata was present. imported the file (audio) into Audacity under file | open metadata, the title and track number were missing. under tracks resampled and changed to 44...

Track titles
Hi All, Real newbie. Version 1.3B on Windows 7 I have a bunch of MP3 files which have the title and track numbers already in. All I need to do is to change the sample rate to 44100 from 22500 and nothing else. I have changed the sample rate and save the file in MP3 format but the title is now blank....
