Just to ask the obvious, are you also sure the track is stopped - you are not playing, recording or paused?

Can you perform any other edits such as Edit > Split New or Effect > Amplify on that region when it happens or are all the menus frozen? All items from the "Edit" menue are greyed out when it happens, so guess thats frozen. Bevor I run into that "not able to delete" problem, all the Edit options ar...
