Ok! Thanks for you help! At least I know I'm not crazy!

Ok so my problem is that sometimes when I import an mp3, the file automatically turn mono and the rate turns to 16000Hz.

The original file is in stereo and as a bitrate of 320kbps...

Is there a way to prevent that.
