Re: Record Mic and Computer Sound Simultaneously
I know this thread is nearly a year old now, but I help with The Morning Stream and have been in Scott's studio. In fact, I have a somewhat more versatile setup similar to Scott's. I also do a podcast and can tell you all you need to know if you didn't find what you needed a year ago. Email me: thet...

Only right channel is recording
I too am having a similar problem on the Mac while recording podcasts. I want to record my audio on the left channel, and Skype audio on the right channel so that I can adjust levels separately. Now with 2.0.2, I can't because Audacity will no longer record in stereo.
Thanks

Re: Stereo Mix not an option
I have a similar problem. I can convert stereo to mono, but then any attempt to export to an mp3 causes a crash.

Re: Can't save as mp3
Thanks for the reply. I regularly do the above mentioned things, and have stumbled upon what seems to be the cause and a partial solution: I record weekly segments for a podcast. Most of the time I do this at the desktop computer using Audacity directly. BUT sometimes I record audio in the field usi...

Can't save as mp3
I've been saving to mp3s for many months, but now today suddenly any attempt to do so causes the "Audacity has encountered a problem and must close" crash.
Am running XP, Audacity v1.3.4. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, redownloading the lame dll file. No change.
Please help!
Thanks
