Re: iTunes does not read Audacity MP3s
No, it happens in Audacity, NOT iTunes. I already saved it into the iTunes Music folder, and without touching iTunes, one can clearly see the Audacity icon of the saved MP3 file in the finder. It is not a major problem, obviously, it just means, I have to import from iTunes, instead of opening from ...

iTunes does not read Audacity MP3s
In OS 10.5: When I export an Audacity project as MP3, and then try to open it, it opens in Audacity, not in iTunes (which is default application). Even when I tell iTunes to open it, it only does that upon import, which is an extra step and a file duplication. Am I doing something wrong or is it a l...

The LAPSPA dmg (@ http://ardour.org/files/releases/swh-plugins-0.4.15.dmg) definitely contains an installer pack (with the pkg extension), NOT just the files. Hard to mistake. In case you know who wrote this package, I could ask him/her myself...? Is it ...

ReRe: Plugins Installation - one solved, one to go!
I DID create an Audacity folder in Applications and put the VST plugins in the plugin folder and put a whole folder with VST extension plugsins there, but they did not show up. BUT: Once I took them out of the folder and only put the individual files into the plugin folder they DID. Hurrah! As far a...
Looping
How do I loop the sound while editing, so I do not have to restart "play" all the time?

change to "db" on the ruler
When I open a sound file in audacity, it comes up with a ruler from 0 - +/-1 on the left. How do I change it to indicate db, as that what stuff like the compressor is using.
I am on OS 10.5
If you could also email me to [email protected], I would appreciate that.
