Intriguing, yes, and unfortunately still unresolved. Removing audacity.cfg doesn't make any difference.

I'm new to all this but is this a bug with Beta? All I'm trying to do is record vinyl by "line In", clean it up, export it as a Wav file and burn it. All of this I can do very easily in 1.2.6. Congrats. a great product. But in Beta, when I hit the record button all seems right until I try to replay....

Yes, I'm aware I can do that which will give me approximately accurate play back but surely the recording should be made in real-time in the first place as in 1.2.6, Cool Edit and anything else I've tried?

Beta Record Problem with Line-in
I am using 1.2.6 without incident. However, have downloaded Beta twice with the same problem.
Recording with line-in runs at about a third of real time hence plays back at about three times real time. This without fiddling with controls or preferences. What have I done wrong?
