Hi, I had the same problem with my HP Laptop. Solved by buying an external sound card with a dedicated
line-in. hope this helps.

Help, I have downloaded 1.2.6 onto my HP Laptop which uses Vista.
The drop-down menu box to select the input source is 'greyed out'.
What do I have to do to be able to open the box for selection.
