Audacity Forum

As I said in my first post, this is what I initially did and I just tried again and it still does not work....Don't know what's wrong so are there any other suggestions? I'm stumped

Thanks, Koz...but I did download the osx univerasal and I can find it listed but when I go to click on it ..it goes >package>usr>local>libmp3lame.dylib (which is grey so no further) and never am I able to 'choose' it. It is now in my applications file. Do I have the right Audacity download? It works...

I have a Mac power book G4 10.4.10 operating system. I downloaded the 1.2.6 Audacity and seems to work fine. It is the lamebib-carbon that downloaded okay but is apparently not being read by my computer as when I go to configure under Preferences so that it can export to mp3 it shows as grey in its ...
