I have that piece of equipment and will give it a shot. As for the iMic - I don't have one of those pieces of ____! I have a Behringer UCA202 which would appear to not be much better.

Thanks Koz, With my MacBook, i'm using a USB interface and the RCA's are connected from the interface to the Master. The USB interface does appear in the sounds preferences box and does work. The problem seems to lie wholly within Audacity. The chances are i'm wrong but i'm a little confused by the ...
