Thanks for your suggestions...after going through trying to fix it...I ended up in the volume window, and the volume had been all the way off for wave. I didn't know if this would affect MP3, but I turned it up....AND NOW IT WORKS! Thank you so much!

I have the same problem with version 1.2. I downloaded Lame, recognized it for the first recording, made the MP3, and sent it to my self, and there is no sound!
