Hm, he installed the newest Audacity, has done the settings that you wrote, and nothing has changed.

Hm, the problem isn't solved with this trick. He can't see the wave out as a record source.
I adviced he that try to download the newest Audacity, cause i don't know wihich version is he currently using, and if the problem is the old version of Audacity, installing a newer one will solve the problem.
