Re: Strange Sounds
How are you trying to "clean-up the recording from clicks"? Are you using "Click Removal" or "Noise Removal"? Both of these effects are "destructive" in the sense that they are making permanent changes to the audio. These effects have to try and guess what is...

Strange Sounds
 I can record and playback. BUT: When I try to clean-up the recording from clicks (with standard settings) I get a totally distort sound (as if it is played back through a long plastic tube). I was able to normalize the sound and to split the sound into tracks, but no clean-up what so ever! Any...

Re: 0.68 seconds!
 the problem seemed to be solved, but after the first recording, which was about four minutes, the second was again restricted to 0.68 seconds. Also were the presets for audio i/o corrupted (showed only 3 or 4 of the 9 possibilities). I "solved" the problem by completely removing ...

Re: No Playback
Yesterday I was able to record a peace of half an hour, now I can only record 0,68 SECONDS! Check the amount of available space for the temporary files - you can find the location of the temp directory by looking in "Edit > Preferences > Directories". If this doesn't fix it, start a new t...

0.68 seconds!
I was on the 1.2.x forum, because I thought I had that version, and some problems. I found out I have 1.3.3 by default in PCLinuxOS. I took the quote from the other tread: Yesterday I was able to record a peace of half an hour, now I can only record 0,68 SECONDS! Answer from Stef: Check the amount o...

Re: No Playback
Hooray :D There's some excellent tutorials available that may help: http://audacityteam.org/help/tutorials I knew about this manual, but I have to translate it first to my native language. I have audacity in Dutch, so I will need the manual in dutch. I think this must be possible. Greetings Paulus :)
