Thanks Gale - OK - got the environment sound settings done! All good - for some reason the Realtek environment effects setting was on 'sewer pipe!' The only challenge I have left is - I cannot seem to put the right settings in the audacity "device" settings to record from the "internal" sound card d...

tunnel effect in plyback - Windows 7?
Not sure if my first post got up - trying again - running windows 7 and cannot get rid of the "tunnel sound effect" when recording an playback???? Any suggestions please - going nuts here!
