How loud are the typing sounds, compared to the speaking through the mic? If the typing is much quieter, then you may be able to filter it out. Or you could look at how it shows up on a spectrum analyzer, and try to set a notch filter to remove that particular frequency.

You can also zoom into the areas in the wave form where the clips appear. Clips show up as the wave rises, and then passes above zero db, leaving a blank "clipped" space. If you zoom in, and then use the pencil tool to redraw the tops of the two peaks so that they connect, it will avoid th...

You "turn off" the envelope by creating another point, and raising the level back up (or down) to where you had it set previously. I generally use two points each time I raise volume and then lower it, as it allows me to shape the transition a little more than an absolute on/off type of so...
