Steve, see attachment please. In the former attachment you have in the left under corner a mechanic tool. If you point this you get "Mixer Tool Bar" and if you click on this you will get the new attachment hereby. As you can see I ticket (left under) "Enable recording multi streaming....

As earlier mentheoned: I work with XP And not Vista
that always has a Grey Mixer toolbar

So using XP - the mixer toolbar is grey and recording is suddenly not working anymore.
But I can play music but no recording is possyble. It's not a computer component that failes, I think

I use Windows XP and Audacity 1.2.6. For mounth I used Audacity to record sounds and music. A couple of week ago I wanted to record some more sounds and music but the mixertoolbar don't show up the possibity to choose stereo mix, mono mix, CD player . I cannot record any sound. I deinstallated 1.2.6...
