Re: Audacity crashs on WAVs created with Adobe Premiere Elem
Hi, I've just hit the same problem using Audacity 1.3.5 and Premiere Elements 4. You say it is fixed in the latest libsndfile but I don't know what I have to do to get a working version of Audacity. :( Can you tell me what I need to do so that I can work with exported audio from Premiere Elements 4,...

Re: Buzzing - removal advice, please
Steve - that's a huge improvement. That should allow me to do the job I need to. That was as loud as I could record it yesterday but I've a few ideas for getting better contact with the phone that might help (I'll be testing those today). Koz - you're almost right. Noise reduction causing echo
Hello, I'm running 1.2.6 and am doing some recordings via a USB headset. There is a background hum and I am trying to get rid of it. I select a "blank" bit of the recording (no talking from me) and go to effects>noise removal and get the noise profile. I then select the whole recording and effects>n...

Resources for learning about audio editing
Hello, I've been using Audacity for a little while to record audio and cut bits out that I don't want. Time for me to start learning about it properly. But where do I start? At the moment I am an "audio idiot". I don't want to be an "audio geek" but certainly want to do more than I have been doing. ...
