Using samples with Audacity
Is there an easy way to add music samples along with other multi-tracked audio in Audacity? It seems difficult to add in samples where I want them in the song. So it's somewhat similar in the way something like Sony Acid works with samples. I want to record standard guitar, drums, bass, vox and then...

Re: Does Audacity have a panner?
@ Stevethefiddle I'm running Audacity 1.2.6 on xp home sp3 under a limited account, normally. I think the problem could be that I had both the install version of Audacity 1.2.6 and the portable version of 1.2.6 running together (though not at the same time) on the same pc. Btw, the install version o...

Re: Does Audacity have a panner?
Ok, I don't have this same problem when running on an admin account, the Lfo panner works good then. So I guess this must be related to running on a limited account. I suppose I can go back to doing recording on an admin account, even though I prefer to work out of a limited account. Hey, I'm happy ...

Re: Does Audacity have a panner?
I'm having trouble getting any of the panner plug-ins to work. I did unzip them and put them in the Audacity plug-ins folder and they do show up in the list under Effects, but they don't seem to be working right, there is no right to left back and forth panning effect like as if I was manually movin...

Add a auto panner
I would love to see a auto panner that will make the recorded audio go from the right to the left speaker automatically, a constant back and forth motion from right to left. It would be nice if this effect could be adjusted to the desired length between pans (millisecond or whatever) . Thanks very m...

Does Audacity have a panner?
I'm new to Audacity so I looked in the Effects list and didn't see a panner. By panner I mean an effect that will make the recorded sound go back and forth between the left and right speakers (stereo). Thanks if someone can point it out under another name if I just missed it.
