No I could not see through Media Player either, but I did find that MP3 export works fine, so I will use that.

Thanks for the info on the template, that works well, but a waste of time a the moment as I cannot see the info in Windows Explorer (XP Home), regardless of if I export to Wav or even MWA.

Is there any way when exporting a recorded album, that the artist, album name, date amd genre, can be automatically added to all tracks rather than having to type it in for each one? Also when I did this for WMA export, the added info did not show up on the exported files. What have i done wrong? Anne

splitting tracks on export
I am new to Audacity and wanted to transfer my LPs to CD. I have recorded and labeled the whole LP, but can only export 3 tracks at a time using the export multiple option. I want to export to .wav and split the tracks by label. Regardless of what the 4th track is, I get the error message saying tha...
