Its not my first time with audacity i just did a fresh os boot and wanted to get the right versions so i didnt have issues like last time. Im fine with 1.2.6 until i have os x 10.4 or 10.5 here soon.

Thanks, with osx 10.3.9 i can only do 1.3.3 until i get a different os i cant do 1.3.11...

Hi im about to start doing multi track recording in audacity since my LE can only do 8 and i need 12. I want to know what format i should export my project as so that i can open all recorded tracks into cubase? Im thinking AIFF?

I got the set-up to work. I had to go into the Alesis Firewire Control Panel and go under the System Sounds Configuration part and for the Input and Output options I set the multi-channel config to "Direct" and then it worked for all 12+2 tracks.
