Thanks for the help, it led me to the answer.

The files were on a remote computer with a drive G: mapped to it. I reconnected to the same computer but mapped drive Q: to it this time. The aup file was still looking in the old path for the other files it needed.

I have taken a number of wav files and converted them to audacity projects. The only thing i did in the project was add a label track. The tracks played fine while they were edited. Now I can't get the sound track to play back. I checked the output and it is set to my speakers. I have other audacity...
