I had some older tests posted on Windows XP. I just made a few trials in Vista, the problems are also there. The missing samples issue previously described does NOT seem to be linked linked to virus checking (several tests with all services stopped show the same issue). Maybe some other glitches are...

During the install of the newer drivers they ask you if you want to udate the firmware.
If you don't know, the firmware rollback is available on presonus site

I just talked with Presonus tech support and they said that the Firebox can work only with ASIO Drivers. The firebox is stated to work on windows, delivered with windows drivers, so you can safely bet that the tech support is just trying to get away whatever way they can with their lousy windows dr...
