Wow - thanks for the quick reply. I'm running Snow Leopard on a first-gen Intel MacBook, and when I tried to run Audacity 1.3, it was crashing constantly. I'll try trashing the prefs on 1.2 and see if that helps. I'm about to upgrade to a MBP, so hopefully this issue won't plague me too much longer.

Audacity executing commands when I name a file
I've had this problem for a while now. Whenever I export a file as an MP3, whenever I'm trying to type the filename, Audacity is executing commands on the project, as though I were holding the command key down (which I'm not). For instance, when I type an "a" in the file name, it executes a "select ...
