Re: The Notch filter don't want to work !

To whom it may concern, take heed of that and correct your plugins ! It has nothing to do with the plug-ins. As with virtually all programming languages (C++, Java, JS, Rust, LISP, C#, Go, ...) the Nyquist programming language (used to make these plug-ins, always uses a dot as the decimal separator...

Re: White noise between two frequencies

the frequency band I want white noise in is 2Hz (if Audacity goes that low) all the way to 100Hz. Definitely nothing beyond that. You will have a hard job measuring that. How will you test for the presence of frequencies below 2 Hz ? You can ensure that there is no "0 Hz" present. 0 Hz is called "D...

Re: OSX Sierra - missing Features?

P.S. Is there any phone number or email where I can get technical support from Audacity directly?? This forum is the correct place for support, but if you tag your posts onto the end of ancient topics they are not likely to be seen by many people. It's best to start a new topic for each new questio...

Re: Help Needed: Generate Audio Track : Automatically Increment Amplitude of Tone:

Automatically repeat the above combination but amplified by set level (say 2 to 5dbfs) - up to a set max dbfs Once you have the series of tones, you can apply an envelope to it in the same way as we did when shaping the amplitude of (osc <pitch> duration). If it's a long series of tones, then a sim...

Re: Help Needed: Generate Audio Track : Automatically Increment Amplitude of Tone:

I tried extrapolating to generate a few steps of the tone + silence: ;type generate (mult (pwlv 0 2 0 2 1 4 1 4 0 6 0 6 1 8 1 8 0 10 0) (osc A4 4)) However, it generates only 1 combination of 2 sec silence followed by 2 sec. of tone. Am I doing something wrong here. Very close. You have correctly e...

Re: White noise between two frequencies

how can I generate the "band limited noise" that Steve mentioned above? 1. Generate white noise 2. Use "Spectral Delete" to remove frequencies above the upper frequency limit. 3. Use "Spectral Delete" to remove frequencies below the lower frequency limit. Spectral delete: https://manual.audacitytea...

Re: The Notch filter don't want to work !

I reverted the Windows 10 regional settings to english (US), What was it set to previously? Which exact setting are you referring to? As Trebor indicates, the "Numbers format" should match the language settings so that a dot is used for languages that normally use a dot, and a comma is used for lan...
