OK, it is Audacity 2.1.0, dropped the last zero. It is Windows 7 I am using. The issue is that if I choose MME or Windows Direct Sound it would show no drivers that I could use. I read what you suggested and found the Stero Mix was disabled. I enabled that and now it seems OK. Not sure how all this ...

Thank you, it is the bottom track that actually needs to be moved to the left to be in sync with the top one. Does th same process apply, but choose the bottom track?

Found the issue, I had Software Playthrough checked. Seems that had me monitoring both input & output. There must be a delay in the device, so basically I was hearing two drum patters, but with a time shift between them, making it seem twice as fast.
