Oops. I had recorded a meeting, but it seems that before I got to listen to it, as I was just learning my way around Audacity, I managed to import an MP3 file from Realplayer into that folder -- and therefore, I guess, over those data. Moving to another point in the track

Say I have a track 17 minutes long. Is there a convenient way to get my cursor to minute 15?

Also, to just skip ahead in increments of, say, 3 minutes, with a keystroke?

audio import, mult. files, one track

How can I do this? Must I cut and paste from each track onto a master one? Seems like this ought to be straightforward, but I can't figure it out so far.

Does my hardware/software matter? Acer Aspire 3003LCi laptop, XP. And thanks to those who offer the help on this forum!
