Yeah, I think we are done. I can do what I need to do with the sound card and I will try it with 1.2.6. But I think you are correct that it will work. I found the correct cable and was able to get it to working using the mic port on my Creative Labs sound card and 1.3.6(Beta) version. Still no dice with the Dell capture device.

I am using windows XP. I've tried both 1.2.6 and 1.3.4(Beta) with the same results. The capture device is the Dell Movie studio Wave device witch the tape player is connected. I do have a Creative Labs sound card I could try, but I don't have the right cable.

problem recording from tape player
I am trying to record from a tape player. The sound during recording sounds like it was recorded in slow motion. The captured audio sounds the same as well. Any ideas?
