Thanks, I'm now able to view the audacity files.
But i don't understand the risks of logging on as administrator. Could you explain that?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, i know the "1" is an abbreviation, but when I look on my hard drive, i can only find Documents and Settings/Adminstrator. beyond that , there is no Locals~1 folder to look in. this is why I'm stumped. I'm attaching a snapshot of my folder structure.,

can't find folder on PC
Hi everyone I'm using Audacity 1.2.6 and my PC ran out of battery during a record. When I rebooted i answered "NO" when Audacity asked if I wanted to delete the temporary files. I looked under preferences and the program said this was where my temp files was located: C:DOCUME~1ADMINI~1LOCALS~1Tempau...
