Ok, I have messed a bit with it, and when I tried to save the
resulting audio file, I am only allowed to saver it as an xml file (??) or an aup file
No idea how to save as MP3 or other format
Documentation is not written for technical illiterates such as I

I can now use the compressor, but it's made for technical geniuses, which I am not.
The graph that shows up looks fancy enough, but I have no clue how to correctly use it.
Guess I can play with it a bit

Unless normalize appears in the list of things you can do in the Chains multiple recursive activity tool, no. Plus, I think Chains is only available in Audacity 1.3. Koz I have 1.2.6....is 1.3 stable? What is the Chains multiple recursive activity tool? Is it explained in simple terms in the manual?
