Audacity Forum

I have done that but still when I record the enxt part, it records that part, and the already existing part. I have my recording device as "line in/mic in" and my playback device as as "microsoft sound mapper output"

Well basically this is my problem. Anyhting that is being played on my computer for (ex. a metronome in a seperate program) that I am recording to on audacity records that in the track I am recording too....So When I am recording a 3 track song and I ahve recorded one track...When I hit the record b...
