if I'm recording an acoustic guitar, is there an effect that will make it sound like an electric (with clean or distortion)? I don't have an electric guitar or amp here with me, but I'd like to know how it would sound.

How do you change the volume of a recorded track halfway through. I mean, if you want one part of a track to be softer than the rest?

Hi, I was wondering how (or if) you can start recording halfway through a track, that is, not at the beginning. I'm recording a second track that is just a solo and I don't want to have to sit through 2 minutes of the first track to get to it, I just want to punch in where the solo begins.
